Oneidas for Democracy

This Library is a comprehensive listing of current and historical information regarding the Oneida Nation of New York, Ray Halbritter, “The Oneidas For Democracy”, and the Haudenosaunee Six Nations People.

For now, everything is divided into two categories:

The Articles section contains news, Press Releases (by the Traditional Oneidas), support letters, and other related material.

The Legal Documents section contains treaties, appeals, Laws, Affidavits, letters (eg. from the BIA) and related material going all the way back to the mid 1700’s.

Terms of Use

All of the documents/images in the library were either authored by us, someone who works with us, or have been collected from the net (or other sources). For instance, much of the content in the article and related section, originated on various new websites and is copyrighted.

We have not always obtained permission to use the material, however we are making it freely available for education, research, and archival purposes.
